Children:  Six

Grandchilren:  Two

Residence: Orem, UT

* Attended College of Southern Utah (SUU) 1961 – 1963

* Acted in the first Utah Shakespearean Festival (Taming of the Shrew & Hamlet) 1962

* Served an LDS Mission to the Scottish Mission (Elder David B. Haight) 1963 – 1965)

* Attended BYU (1965 – 1966)

* Attended and graduated from University of Las Vegas Nevada (1966 – 1971) BS Organizational Behavior

* Studied towards an MBA, UNLV (1972-73)

* Became one of the first “Certified Fund Raising Executives” (CFRE) in the United States

Employment:

* Worked at the Sahara Hotel (Del E. Webb International Resort Hotels), Casino Bank Manager, Hotel Manager, Administrative Assistant to the Executive Vice President,appointed Vice President at the time I resigned in 1974.

* Employed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, LDS Philanthropies (LDS Foundation), Office of the Presiding Bishopric

– Regional Director for Nevada – Southern Utah (1974 – 1981)

– National Field Manager (1981 – 1985)

– Director of Donor Services for BYU, Ricks College and field   operations (1985 – 1989)

– Assistant Vice President of BYU, BYU Development Office, a division of LDSP, anddirected the major $400 million dollar fund raising campaign for BYU (1994 – 1999)

– Appointed “Managing Director of LDS Philanthropies Department  in the Office of the Presiding Bishopric by the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daySaints  (1999 – presently)
