  1. I want to thank Bonnie for the awesome job she did putting together another wonderful reunion. It was great fun seeing everyone and getting reacquainted again and the food was really great. Thanks also for the opportunity to put together this Blog. I hope to continue adding information and features to it in both the short and long term.

  2. To Linda Taylor Crofts: Twas the 24th Psalm not the 23rd That Oscar Hulet had us present in the Summit Chapel at a special meeting for our parents and guests-not Sacrament meeting. It was terrific seeing you again and wonderful to hear of your doings. Roger Lewis

  3. Hi everyone!!! It was GREAT to see so many of you,……I already regret not being able to visit with more of you. Lennis and Bonnie…….what a fantastic job with the organizing and taking care of 2 BIG portions of the reunion. Everything went really well. I’m thinking that the next one…..2015????…..that we could all get our own “lunch”…..and that chips and dip with a few (homemade) cookies would be super. That would cut down on the work involved. Loved the meal……and the entertainment (Robert=great as always…) It was so fun to see all the old pictures,…..and just hang around with you guys.

And Roger…..we went right to Christiansens the next morning, and bought Chad’s book,……and I read it all the way home,….and finished it that night. It was wonderful to hear about you,…Roger…..and understand the trials you have faced…..with dignity!!! I hope more of you 1960 graduates, get a chance to read it=”Surround Yourself With Greatness”,…..it is SO worth your time.

Once again……thanks to the WHOLE committee,……for this great REUNION time. Hope to see you in 5 years!!! Pat (Frame) Quarnberg

  4. To Lana Grant:

I want you to know how much I miss Dr. Grant. I learned more from him than any other professor, and he shaped my career to this day. He taught me how to be a scientist – I recall many times when he replied “I don’t know” to a question, and I came to realize that a good scientist knows the limits of his knowledge, and doesn’t try to bluff his way to an answer. He was honest, very intelligent, and always interesting. S.K. also had a great sense of humor and was a big sports fan.

I hope you and your family are doing well.

  5. We moved to southern Utah five years ago and even though we love Cedar City we were ready to get out of the snow so we moved to Washington, Utah (Green Srings area). We love our life down here. We travel a lot for pleasure as well to see our children and grandchildren. In fact, we leave in a few days for Tokyo. We have been there several times because we have a son, daughter -law and three grandkids that live there! Dave loves to golf and fish. I enjoy being in a book group and playing Hand and Foot with my card group. We enjoy being involved in the community. Dave is active in the Sons of the Utah Pioneers and I am currently serving as president of the Washington East Company of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. We are also serving in the church and especially enjoy being ordinance workers at the St. George Temple. Which by the way is the temple we were married in 51 years ago! We just became great grandparents for the first time on September 1 of this year. Life is good for us and we are very happy!
